Club Info

Fairwater RoadRunners was officially formed in September 1983. As interest in running grew a need for "fun" clubs to support those who fancied "jogging and running" was identified. So it was that Fairwater RoadRunners was born with the name later being revised to Fairwater Runners as other disciplines like track, x-country, tri-athalons and fell running were included.

Although it started as a "fun" club many members have gone on to gain County and National recognition on Road, Country and Fell.

Fairwater Runners prides itself in having fun while running and welcomes men and women of all abilities and ages.

Full results of the fourth leisure league road race hosted by Caerleon Running Club available

Also results of the combined cross country and road race 2009 - 2010 series available.

Please note that the club subs are now overdue so could all members who have not already
done so please pay their fees to Marianne as soon as possible.

Guidelines and course map relating to the club handicap training runs have been updated and are
available on the Events page.

RACK Raid

The RACK Raid for 2010 took place on Sunday
30th May with the results now being available
on the Results page.
Many thanks to evryone that helped on the day
and supported all the runners.

Congratulations to Chepstow Harriers who came first in the event, after what was once again a very
closely fought competition.
Congratulations must also go to Chepstow Harriers who also had the first B Team and well done to
Fairwater Runners for finishing second.

We would like to thank all those teams that took part and hope that everyone enjoyed the day, hoping
to see you all again next year for another fantastic day.
